HAMILTON, ON – Promising up-and-comer Jaeger McMaster will look to gain a bevy of on-track experience this season, as his family-operated Super Stock team will look to compete in close to 25 events all cross Ontario in 2018.
“We’re excited to get out and race as much as we can this year,” says McMaster. “We’ve been slowly building up this team for the last three years and we feel like we’re at the point now where we’re ready to get out on the road and race against as much top-level competition as we can.”
The 2018 will undoubtedly be McMaster’s busiest to date and will have the Hamilton, ON-area team running weekly at Flamboro Speedway with additional events scheduled at Sauble Speedway, Delaware Speedway and Jukasa Motor Speedway throughout the year.
With only 12 feature events to his credit – already highlighted by 2 victories and 5 top-5s – it’s easy to see why McMaster has so much faith in his team’s chances entering the 2018 season.
“I don’t want to come off as cocky – but I absolutely think we’re a threat at every single race we unload at,” says the rising star. “I haven’t even had 20-races under my belt yet and we’ve been getting better and better with every race. It puts a lot of confidence in you when you have a team putting together the best equipment you could ask for on a weekly basis.”
And even though opening night is still three months away, McMaster’s 2018 campaign will open on March 9th, 10th and 11th at Toronto’s Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo where the team will display their brand new look for what they hope will be a hallmark season.
“We’ve been fortunate enough to welcome back all of our sponsors from 2017 and we’re real close to being able to announce a few new partnerships with some very exciting people,” says McMaster. “This is going to be a huge year for us. All signs are pointing to us being able to put together something special.”
