BARRIE, ON – One of the most liked drivers eager to make a statement in the Sunset Speedway Super stock division veteran Frank Davey finally found the right amount of speed and set up package to motor his was to his first podium finish of the 2018 season.

The Barrie, ON product has been fight with is newly acquired ride since opening night, power and consistency as been holding back the 49 racer from showcasing is true abilities.

“I don’t think it’s much of a secret that we haven’t been able to race as much as we would have liked to these last few week’s, say’s Davey “Racing for good results anyways- especially against this crop of drivers-requires more of your time and your focus than you could ever imagine. Sometimes life gets in the way of that.”

“This year, the goal is for us to be a lot more active and to put together a program that can contend anywhere – beginning with this Saturday & countine on Sunday.

“The past (2) weekend’s have really got me more motivated now,that we have had some great results and set-ups to work with.”

“We’ve worked real hard to get ready for this season – all of that effort wasn’t done just for one race,” Adds Davey. “I have confidence in the package we’ve found for the remainder of the season. Hopefully I can showcase my skills and then turn that into a whole season of running up front at any speedway we roll into.”
