ALCONA, ON – In just his Second season spent behind the wheel of his Streamline built Sunset Speedway Super Stock, hard charger Coltin Everingham is refocused and ready to pursue his first championship and hopefully guarantee himself a spot in Jukasa Motor Speedway’s 5k to win,September 2nd.
The Alcona based wheelman has already earned his first career NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature win earlier this season, and after a pair of podium performances the fans and insiders alike are starting to wonder if 2018 could become another breakout year for Everingham.
“This has been the start to the season that any team could only dream of,” smiled Everingham. “It’s been a huge breath of fresh air because we’ve worked so hard to elevate this program. We have a lot of hours in this car and it’s an amazing feeling to know that we have a piece that can contend at the front of the field on any given night.”
Tapped as a prospect to keep an eye on since after last season, Coltin says his family-owned team’s goals are simple: get to the top of the points standings and stay there.
“Our goal as a team is to win the championship in this division,” explains the multi-time feature winner. “That’s where we’re headed right now and that’s what we’re going to continue to work towards all season.”
“We’ve been able to build off of every performance we’ve had in the last two years.”
Both the good and the bad days have taught us a lot and they’ve all made us what we are now. It’s been a lot of work, but we can finally step back and see the steps that we’ve started to take – I’m excited to see just how far we can go this season.”
“Being able to unload off the trailer and know that we have a package that’s good enough to stand toe-to-toe with any other car in the pit area is an incredible feeling,” says Everingham. “I’m happy with our start, but I know there is a lot more work to be done.”

“Winning my first [Super Stock] feature was one of the best moments of my entire life and now it’s all about seeing what we can do to make that happen again and again.”
