ACTON, ON – Just two weeks after showcasing considerable speed in Jukasa Motor Speedway’s open Super Stock event, Brandon McFerran and car owner Kevin Gallant were once again turning heads. This time, it was a dominant victory in Flamboro Speedway weekly competition on June 29th.
Post-race, McFerran wasted little time heaping praise on Gallant and the program he’s built after close to two-decades in short track racing.
“Driving for Kevin is the chance that every racer works for,” said McFerran.”
“This is a team that gives you a chance to win every single time you unload. No mater where you unload. We could race anywhere in Ontario and I’d believe, with everything in me, that we have a chance to contend.”
The pair plan on competing across Ontario throughout the second-half of the season, with return visits to Flamboro, Jukasa and Sauble scheduled.
“Kevin and I sat down this Winter to plan out what we were hoping to do this season and we both agreed that we’d love to race against as many different fields as possible,” explained ‘The Astronaut’.
“This division is always changing and advancing and the best way to stay on top of it is to test yourself against as many top-level programs as you can.”
When asked how he sees himself matching up against the elite of the Super Stock division, the multi-time feature winner doesn’t mince words.
“I think this team is good enough to outrun any of these other guys,” said McFerran. “I believe in my abilities as a driver and I know that Kevin is always going to give me the best piece possible.”
“Winning at Flamboro is one of the toughest things you can do – no matter what division you’re in. Walking out of here tonight with a win is a huge confidence booster. We’ll go home, get in the shop and see what we can do to make this car even better for next week. We aren’t done winning yet.”
