Andrew Gresel Racing Would like to Welcome all Their 2019 Sponsors

Andrew Gresel

Andrew Gresel and his race team are busy preparing for a very active PLM season, with plans of running a full APC season along with Sauble Speedway’s schedule and JMS Canadian Nationals.

“Myself and my team are very thankful for the opportunity and support from all these great sponsors who have stepped up to make this season possible, we plan on getting them some victory lane pictures to hang in their offices.”

SAUBLE BEACH, ON – Former APC United Late Model Series champion Andrew Gresel has thrown his name into the ring for the inaugural Sauble Speedway Pro Late Model 5-event mini-series this Summer.

The longtime Pro Late Model and Super Late Model standout is understandably excited for the five-race bid at his hometrack, as he readies his Hy-Grade Roofing-backed outfit for a run towards the first ever series title.

“I’ve always enjoyed having the support and the opportunity to race all over the province but racing at home will never get old,” says Gresel.

“These five races are shaping up to be some of the biggest events we’ll take part in all season and we’re doing everything we can to make sure our team will have what it takes to contend for a win every time we roll through the gates.”

Gresel has earned notoriety in recent seasons as one of the top Pro Late Model competitors in all of Ontario, having tallied 7 wins through the first 4 seasons of competition with the APC United Late Model Series.

“We take a lot of pride in how we’ve built up our Pro Late (Model) program,” notes the second-generation racer. “Any time I commit to anything I want to make sure I give myself the chance to be the best at it. No half measures. We definitely aren’t the guys that show up unprepared.”

“I think that these (mini-series) races will absolutely be five of the toughest shows we run all year,” continues Gresel. “When you look at the list of guys that have already registered, it’s a ‘who’s who’ of teams that have made a name for themselves the last few years. I’m not expecting there to be many slouches in the field.”

Before developing into an OSCAAR Super Late Model Tour and APC United Late Model Series champion, Gresel cut his teeth at the Owen Sound-area bullring and hopes that his myriad of experience at the facility can translate into somewhat of a hometrack advantage throughout the 2019 campaign.

“Sauble is one of the toughest places in Ontario to get a handle on,” opines Gresel. “We’ve been fortunate to lay down a lot of laps there and we’ve learned a ton through that. The plan is definitely to lean on that experience as much as I can this season.”

“I’ll take any small advantage that I can,” adds the Sauble Beach, ON pilot. “We’re going up against some of the best-of-the-best when it comes to Pro Late Model racing and everyone wants to win this deal.”

Support for Andrew Gresel’s 2019 Racing season will be provided by Sauble Falls Tent & Trailer Park, Hy-Grade Roofing, CUSW Canadian Union of Skilled Workers, Gallinger Ford Lincoln of Milton and Calhoun Super Structures.
