SMITHVILLE, ON – After having spent the last two seasons building his Super Late Model program into a fortified contender, second-generation racer John Cadman is ready to take aim at the 2018 Ontario Super Late Model Series championship.
“We’re confident that we have the work ethic and the equipment necessary to be a championship-worthy team this year,” says Cadman. “I’ve learned from the mistakes that we overcame in 2016 and 2017 and I’m ready to make a push towards the top spot in the standings.”
While Cadman was forced to miss a number of events in 2017 – for a myriad of different reasons – the former feature winner insists his team is more than ready to commit to perfect attendance with the OSLMS tour in 2018.
“There were definitely some facets of our package that needed improvement after last season,” notes the Smithville, ON racer. “But we’ve put a lot of time in over the Winter to make sure we’re ready for a full schedule. I’m confident our setup and engine program will be better than anything we’ve had in the last two seasons.”
When asked of the impact that the upstart series will have on the Super Late Model climate in Ontario, Cadman is sure not to mince words when throwing his support behind the OSLMS.
“I really believe that this series is going to help bring some consistency and stability back to this style of racing,” says Cadman. “There are quite a few teams that have been on the sidelines for years now that are ready to come back for this tour. It’s an exciting time to have a Super Late Model.”
“This is a championship that everyone is going to remember,” adds Cadman. “We want to be the first team to add our names to this deal. That’s what this season is all about. We’re ready to work as hard as we need to make sure we’re in contention all year long.”
John Cadman’s 2018 season is presented by The Canadian Concrete Expo, Bristol Motors RV and Pro Battery Shops.
