HAGERSVILLE, ON – As Jukasa Motor Speedway prepares to host its second season of racing, General Manager Alex Nagy can barely contain his enthusiasm when asked to outline just what the facility has in stores for its fan base in 2018.
“Even though we’ve only had two events thus far – things have been exactly what we had hoped they’d be,” says Nagy. “We most definitely have a long way to go – and we’ll continue to learn and make things better for our fans, race teams and partners – but it’s been a fantastic start so far.”
“Our motto is that we can’t lose if the customer wins – and we’re going to stick to that philosophy every time we open our gates,” continues Nagy.
“We feel as though we’ve built a facility that is second to none but there are still things we can do to make the competition better. We’re committed to continue adding to the fan experience as we move forward.”
One event garnering particular interest is the Jukasa Motor Speedway debut of the popular OSCAAR Modified Tour on Saturday, June 16th that is expected to bring many of the province’s top Open Wheel talents to the facility.
“I think our OSCAAR Modified event will be one that’s especially exciting,” says Nagy. “The tour has shown excellent growth and top-level driving talent that should absolutely put on a show for our fans. I hope that Jukasa can provide them a platform to continue their growth and keep attracting cars to build their division and series.”
And it’s not only Ontario fans and drivers that have expressed their excitement for Jukasa’s sophomore effort, as Nagy has already received calls and emails from fans, insiders and driver from clear across North America.
“Our 2018 season is going to be incredible,” says Nagy. “The interest that’s been shown from all over Canada – including every corner of Ontario and Quebec – has been fantastic.”
“We’ve had teams reach out from across the United States, too. It’s real encouraging. We hope that the best of the best can continue to find their way to Jukasa so that we can keep putting on the shows that our fans deserve.”
