Taylor thring, 18 year old driver of the number 55 Ford Mustang mini stock is moving tracks in 2018 and calling sunset speedway home after racing at Flamboro speedway over the course of the last two years.
“I am very excited to finally be making the move over to Sunset speedway. Sunset is one of my favourite tracks to compete at, and it’s going to be really cool to call it home for 2018.”
Taylor and her team at Thring Motorsports want to set sight on winning the rookie of the year battle this upcoming season.
“I haven’t ran for points in my career as of yet. This coming season it is an aspiring goal of mine to compete in the rookie of the year battle at Sunset. Although, we are a low income race team, and travelling almost 2 hours every week to the track will be costly and as of right now it is not in budget for us to be able to run a full season.”
To accomplish her goal, Thring is looking for marketing partners to make her dream season a reality.
“My team and I are now officially looking for marketing partners and sponsorships so we can achieve the NWAAS rookie of the year in the Mini Stock division. My dream season will not be possible without the generous help of your businesses. I have worked really hard to create a marketing proposal that will showcase everything that I, as a driver and promoter of your business has to offer.”
